Post 1: Huck Finn Response (Ch.1-Ch.10)

Huck Finn is about a young boy who was adopted by a widow. He had $6,ooo that his father was trying to take away from him. He didn't want to be in the custody of his father or the widow. So when the judge said he had to live with his father, he faked his death and ran away. While he was out sneaking around trying not to be found, he ran into a slave named Jim that had also ran away. So now the two are trying to escape.

So far the book is okay. I don't like how the author spells and his grammar. It's kind of confusing to keep up with who's talking because of the dialect he uses. Even though I do like how the book is adventurous and mysterious. It keeps the reader interested. So far I like this book better than Of Mice and Men because its far more interesting.
